Hardware Development Community (HDC) University Campaigns
In an effort to advance hardware development and foster innovation, iZonehub Makerspace recently hosted a successful campaign at Harare Institute of Technology. This event, part of our broader Hardware Development Community (HDC) initiatives, aimed to engage university students and professionals in the realm of hardware engineering, much like our previous successful campaign at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ).
Event Highlights
The campaign began with an engaging introduction by key industry figures, setting the stage for a day of insightful discussions and hands-on activities. Participants were introduced to various hardware projects and cutting-edge technologies, allowing them to gain practical experience and deepen their understanding of hardware development.
Hands-On Projects
Attendees were given the opportunity to work on real-world projects, utilizing tools and components provided by iZonehub. These projects ranged from building basic electronic circuits to developing more complex hardware solutions, providing a comprehensive learning experience. The event also featured networking sessions, where participants could connect with industry experts, mentors, and fellow enthusiasts. This provided valuable opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering a vibrant community of hardware innovators.
